reVitalizing Los Angeles Valley College

Construction of bond-funded buildings has finally begun! Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Maintenance & Operations /Sheriff's Station facility marked the beginning of a new and improved Los Angeles Valley College campus. It's what we've been so carefully planning since voters passed Propositions A, AA and 47 to fund new structures throughout the LACCD.

We are truly excited about revitalizing our physical plant to match our already outstanding academic and career training programs. Students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community deserve the very best, and we are dedicated to providing it.

As soon as the M&O/Sheriff's facility is completed, construction will begin on the new Allied Health/Sciences Center, followed by the Hertzberg Library and Learning Resource Center.

Renovation of the Gymnasium Complex and athletics fields also are scheduled to start this year. Additional construction for five new buildings and upgrades on current campus buildings are in the planning stages.

I invite you to click on the other links on our bond Web site to find out about the college's updated Master Plan and additional information about our bond projects.
