A Building User Group (BUG) has been formed for each of LAVC's planned new facilities and for the structures scheduled for modernization. Programming architects are assisting the groups with needs assessments and space utilization plans.

BUGs are part of LAVC's shared-governance system, whereby all campus constituencies are represented in major decision-making processes.

BUG groups are composed of LAVC faculty and academic deans, along with the staff of program manager, URS, which oversees all consultants, contractors, and the architects.

BUGs have been formed for the various projects, along with BUG Leaders:
